Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check my child in?

Prior to the start of worship service, parent or caregivers are welcome to drop off their child/children to their classroom with our volunteers.  After the sermon, children are dismissed by their teacher back to the worship service with their families.   We also encourage families to fill out a Connect Card online.

Why don't children stay in class for the whole worship service?

We believe that children worshipping with their families and the church is an important way we can help children be part of the larger church body.  Participating in the worship portion of the service allows children an opportunity to see and experience the elements of worship, including singing, communion, and prayer.

What will my child learn?

The Bible is not just any old book;  it's a life-changing book full of God's truth and wisdom.   Every Sunday and Wednesday, children and volunteers dive into the Bible and discover what God's word says about how we should live and treat others, and Bible stories of how God's people lived and treated others.  Age-appropriate lessons, questions, activities, games, and music help further bring the Bible to life for kids.  A combination of video and live lessons are used.

Will my child make friends?

Yes!  Our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening kids programs are interactive.   There are lots of opportunities for kids to build friendships through the games and activities led by our volunteer team.
